My paintings explore predominantly portraiture, both human and animal.   

My vision is very non-traditional, influenced largely from Pop Art and contemporary realism. The central intention of my work is to create a striking image as I balance meticulous brush strokes and loose energy. As my technique evolves, I find my brushstrokes becoming looser and my color palette more broad, building layer upon layer until I achieve the richness and depth I’m seeking for my canvases.
